Research

Our research program has focused on actionable research that combines interdisciplinary perspectives and bridges theory and practice. Whereas social science research has focused predominantly on literate, Students on the 2014-2015 trip to India learn from those living in subsistence environments.relatively resource-rich individuals and societies, this research examines contexts that lie across resource and literacy barriers.

Specific research projects span topics such as poverty, literacy, and psychology, consumption and entrepreneurship, and marketing and management. This program has led to a book, several book chapters, and journal articles.
